The 99% will no longer pay loans & credit card bills. Let's show the 1% that the 99% are far more powerful than they are.

We can join together to change things without force or violence. If the people want a financial system based on equity instead of debt, then we have to make it happen.

While the nation suffers, people lose their home and citizens struggle trying to support their families, the big banks are giving themselves bonuses and having lavish parties. What ways have the bailouts improved your life?

They haven't.

We will no longer allow the people to suffer. We will not pay the bank's bills.

The financial system cannot survive without us.

We are the 99%.

((No one is asking, so please do not send your money anywhere, there is no organization affiliated with this protest.))

In Iceland, the people have made the government resign, the primary banks have been nationalized, it was decided to not pay the debt that these created with Great Britain and Holland due to their bad financial politics, and a public assembly has been created to rewrite the constitution.

Summary of the Icelandic non-violent revolution:
-resignation of the whole government
-nationalization of the bank.
-referendum so that the people can decide over the economic decisions.
-incarcerating the responsible parties
-rewriting of the constitution by its people

Never heard about the Icelandic revolution in the news...

Federal Reserve audit PDF from July 2011 is:

"The first top-to-bottom audit of the Federal Reserve uncovered eye-popping new details about how the U.S. provided a whopping $16 trillion in secret loans to bail out American and foreign banks and businesses during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression."

We will make this revolution happen. Inform yourself and spread the world!

99% pays no credit cards or loans event is on facebook

(The money that would normally go to the 1% could be used instead to help those who are unable to meet their own basic needs, like food. Like pay it forward, towards people in your local community, family, friends, etc. You can give some food to someone in need or who is unemployed and unable to support themselves.)

Additional steps that you can take:

Spread knowledge to others
Boycott credit cards
Boycott big banks
Open bank account at credit union/community bank
Support local business
Utilize free events in your area - movies, festivals, concerts, parks, free days, etc.
