With a growing and healthy economy, it's amazing how fast that deficit disappears. Republicans don't understand that. Every-time they are in charge, everything turns to shit.

So... what does that have to do with OUR economy?

2001 to 2008 2.4 million jobs were moved to China.

More than 40,000 factories were closed.

People got rich off Iraq, but tens of thousands in the middle class died or were wounded.

Passed through reconciliation in 2003, trillions were added to the deficit to give millionaires and billionaires tax breaks.

The cost of two wars were left off the budget.

Passed through reconciliation, another 5 trillion in drug benefits were given to the elderly hoping they would vote Republican.

So, what do the Republicans have to do with the economy? Try connecting the dots.

Most people want a retirement program. Few would choose the government to run it. Many realize that having the money when they want to retire may not happen because the government had mismanaged it.

But the government hasn't mismanaged Social Security.

fox will keep teliing them that things are fine and ti will only impact the lowly welfare bums and such. Just like they did while the housing bubble, etc was building up.
