8 Holiday Driving Tips

That reminds me I gotta get some bailing wire for my muffler, side mirrors and front bumper, damn, Oh and don't forget to remove those front window sun shields before driving.
 
Heh, I saw "Holiday" in the title and I'm like "No, we're not talking about getting ready for Christmas in the BEGINNING of SUMMER?!"
 
11. A good spare tire
12. A serviceable tool kit
13. At least 2 gallons of potable water
14. A hydraulic jack
15. Emergency food rations
16. A fire extinguisher
17. A good first aid kit
18. At least one good flashlight
19. At least three emergency flares
20. A firearm!

I used to spend LOTS of time on the road and this is the bare minimum.
 
Watch out for people with their hands on their ears, they are dangerous.

Those are all good westwall. I'd add one more: take along some great tunes if you don't have satellite radio. Most local radio stations are crap, and out in the boonies - forget it.

21. A crude oil containment boom just in case you get too close to the gulf coast. :tongue:
