we basically stopped body counts back in nam not only did it turn out to be useless as tactic to rely on numbers to determine if you were wining but it also got to down right embarrassing--yes there were instances where there were inflated and even some extra rounds expended to up the number.

So now in Iraq to put up a body count would be an international embarrassment and only provide fodder to the left.
Suffice it to say from past experience enemy combatants casualties would easily exceed ours by a minimum of 50X
