There was a reason that Saddam wouldn't let weapons inpectors in, he was obviously stalling for some time to hide the weapons.

Liberals would have you believe Saddam was willing to accept sanctions due to the fact that he wouldnt let inspectors in to check on his supposedly non existant WMDs, just because. What kind of retard logic is that? Theres a reason he didnt let them in, and theres a reason he didnt document the destruction of the weapons (though he claimed they did destroy them), which is simply because he didnt want to get rid of them.

Fellow, the Inspectors were in Iraq right up to the time we invaded. And Bush ordered them out. He did not want them to continue their inspections because he knew they would find nothing.

How about other countries who want to have travel and commerce with us should be sure to use caution in letting people with bombs on planes. That is certainly a reasonable request. As a matter of fact, since I can click "submit" here and you can read what I have entered very quickly afterward, and those in Australia, and India, and South Africa can do the same, we all should get that info can move around the globe very quickly. In the case of this "Hot Pants Bomber," he was already on the watch list. Then his Daddy went to the Embassy to tell about his activities. That right there is an IMMEDIATE (or should be) conditional upgrade to the NO FLY list. We are supposed to be sharing that with other countries. But who knows, maybe we don't. I mean we do run a government where gov agencies won't share critical information with each other. Then there was that cash purchase of the ticket. Guy is already on the watch list. That designation "cash" in combo with being on the list should automatically upgrade the purchasing passenger to a 30 or 60 day wait time before he can get on a plane, plus a trip to the local embassy where all the info comes together. The visa thing, again, data based, visa temporarily suspended because of the combo of the other things, or even any one of the above! In a climate where a human being can manage their whole life, including food purchases, either fast or delivery from a market, pay bills, and so on ON LINE, never leave their home, and the US FUCKING GOVERNMENT cannot manage to even slow down a situation like this is absolutely ludicrous.

But yeah, we are the same country of total imcompetents that AFTER 9/11/2001 reapproved the visas of some who were/are the alleged hijackers of those planes.....

I think there are two elements here. The part you bring up here and a boots on the ground side. As much as you share information and create a security system, you still need people at the airport on the other end. It could be as simple as slipping a bomb into an unsuspecting person's luggage.
