64%

Right now, more than 80 percent of the money raised by superPACs has gone to pro-GOP groups. And, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, 80 percent of all the money raised by these groups has come from just 100 individuals — the wealthiest people in America.

For all of you math majors out there that means 64% of all the superPAC money raised thus far has come from 100 individual donors and has gone to pro-GOP groups.

The Republican Party represents the oil companies and the super rich.

They have fooled rank and file Republicans into thinking they don't.

Guess which Politician has received the most money from BP?

Bullshit. How do you think your Dear Leader is going to run the first $Billion Presidential Campaign in History? Where do you think he's gonna get all that cash from? Think about it. Stop being such a dupe.

Big fucking deal....many of those people gave money to Obamination in 2008, but his attack on their money and businesses has CHANGED their minds. Now, there is the CHANGE Obamination was talking about, while the HOPE is his ass is fired in November.

Oh, I recall liberals bragging about their war chest a year ago....

Oh they'll be boasting about their War Chest again in a few weeks. Their rhetoric changes weekly. One week they just hate that 'Evil Wall Street.' Then the next week, they're boasting about how well the Stock Market is doing under their Dear Leader. Their DNC Talking Points change all the time. Looks like this week it's all about those 'Evil Rich People' again. But that will likely change in a week or so. They're just trying to have it both ways. Hopefully American Voters see what's going on though. The Dems are just trying to scam em.

End Citizens United. Public financing all the way.

except for obama....

is your memory that short?

So, Obama is supposed to sit back and get outspent by GOP SuperPacs just to stand on principle? That would be very convenient for you, wouldn't it?

He's not being outspent........but if you want to say this hypothetically......yes, it would be nice if he had some principles to stand on for once.

His opponents have said he's like jello when it comes to negotiations. He doesn't care if they think he's a rotten sneak, a two-faced SOB. He only cares that this fact doesn't get out to the public.

Problem is he doesn't stick with anything principled when being principled becomes a liability.

Yes. Principles do actually mean something. Don't rake in all the cash and then scam everyone by pretending you're against it. That's even worse than just accepting the cash. It's incredibly dishonest.

and ignoring history is convenient too:rolleyes:

Public financing hello?

"It was not an easy decision, especially because I support a robust system of public financing of elections," he said. "We face opponents who have become masters at gaming this broken system."

McCain, speaking to reporters from Iowa, said the fact that Obama was "not even willing to keep" a campaign promise "should be disturbing to all Americans."

Obama and McCain both pledged last year that they would accept taxpayer money for the general election if his opponent would do the same. Obama began stepping away from that as the primaries got underway and he shattered fundraising records. In a Feb. 20 column in USA TODAY, Obama said he would keep his pledge only if McCain also agreed to limit spending by political parties and refuse fundraising help from outside groups.

so I guess principal means shit. :lol:A new low for hypocrisy.

Obamination is also wating taxpayer money on his campaign blowing millions flying around the country touting "green" companies hiring 50 people.

He has the media stage for his PR machine, just call a press conference and get FREE exposure to the lemming voters.

Of course, if private citizens donate their money in opposition of the black messiah, well then that must be criminal activity in the demented minds of liberals.

Yes, well; they pointed and laughed when I started a similar thread.

hypocrisy is usually funny, especially coming from folks who have the political and historical acumen of a 12 year old.

Don't be so hard on yourself....

Originally, he typed 5 y/o. Probably more accurate.

yes it probably is.....

and while you're in the sandbox, I'll hear you out, maybe you can tell us why a charge of hypocrisy and selective partisanship on/in this issue doesn't or shouldn't include you?
