63% of Republicans STILL Think Iraq Had WMDs

Go ahead, pick out your source. This is how "Google" works.

Remember, 70% of Americans believed Iraq was involved in 9/11:

Bush linked Iraq and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks: "The battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September the 11, 2001 -- and still goes on. That terrible morning, 19 evil men -- the shock troops of a hateful ideology -- gave America and the civilized world a glimpse of their ambitions."

Oh, and 64% of Republicans believe Obama was born in another country.

The Poll:

The part on Demographics is hilarious. 2.5% of blacks are Republican? More than half Republicans say they are strongly religious but less than a quarter regularly attend church.

Very interesting poll.

Bill Clinton told America that Iraq had WMD's. The CIA told Bush that Iraq was developing WMD's. Iran gained an entire fleet of fighter jets when Iraq hid it's air force in Iran during the 1st Gulf War. Bush gave Saddam about a year to comply with UN sanctions. Iran suddenly gained nuclear technology when the US attacked Iraq. Figure it out yet?

Of course the US knew Iraq has chemical weapons! The receipts for the American sales of them were in government hands. That they no longer existed may not have been know, but inspections certainly hadn't found them.
What people do not want to believe is that their government could be so evil as to invade and destroy another sovereign nation without having been attacked; in other words, viciously and illegally.

According to WikiLeaks, small amounts of chemical WMDs were found in Iraq and continued to surface for years after the 2003 US invasion.

Any factory or processing plant capable of making household cleaners like Windex or Scrubbing Bubbles (because they have multiple stainless steel vats and mixers capable of combining different ingredients and possibly heating them under pressure) could theoretically make chemical weapons.

There were...Syria has them now.
I remember watching the news reports back in 2003 when they were showing a convoy of trucks heading toward Syria, nobody knew why, but there was a lot of speculation. We gave them too many warnings and too much time and gave them the chance to get rid of them. That was the only thing that Bush was wrong about.

What do you expect anyone to think about WMD's? The democrats were pushing they had WMD's far before Bush was:

You obviously know too much. I'm going to have to report you to Homeland Security. It's for your own good. :D

Iraq had used chemicals on his their people....so yes, they did have them.
Bush had given enough time for Saddam to move his chemicals out of the country. Satellite pics had shown convoys of trucks going to Syria prior to the invasion.
Who knows? It's not that far out there that he did have them leading up to the invasion. Democrats and republicans alike voted for the invasion. Only after they were there did they start the back peddling and distancing themselves from their vote....go figure.

They did you cock sucking hack.

I fully supported the invasion then and now. Did we handle the invasion wrong? You bet your ass but it was still the right thing to do. Fucking Saddam and Rderp

this is why seriously participating in a discussion on boards like this is futile.

they NEEEEED to believe that Iraq had WMDs.

and use old chemical weapons, which were found, as a crutch to rationalize that the invasion of iraq was not built on a full-blown lie.

the leaders of a third world country invading another third world country on those grounds would now sit in Scheveningen.

Bush admits that Iraq had no WMD.

And yet, with all of YOUR knowledge, the democrats also voted for the invasion.

WHY? Saddam was not a threat. Just President of Iran. Saddam was really an ally because there were no terrorist in Iraq before our invasion. How can an invasion be done wrong? :eusa_hand::confused:
