60 year old speech, 10/23/58 by Ed Murrow, more important now even than then.

This is obviously from the movie "Good Night and Good Luck"... but they used the original unaltered text in this speech and through out the movie. You might consider watching it.
But this speech itself, given 60 years ago tomorrow (October 23, 1958) is more applicable today even than it was then.
It this speech he mentions what would people say 50 years from then, it has been 60. And what he says is worse now than it was then. He was prophetic, accurate and ignored.

I have never been a conspiracy theorist, and you don't have to be one to recognize that the news media is, by design, provided to divide us, misinform us and most of all - distract us from what is actually happening in America.
