Saudi Arabia is a shithole, but we look the other way b/c we enjoy the profits made by doing business in that forsaken land.

Instead we could be doing business with Venezuela who has the largest oil reserves in the world.

We slap sanctions on them for the shitty way the treat their citizens, but give Saudi Arabia an arms deal. We shouldn’t be doing business with any of those places until they get their shit together.

We have bigger fish to fry in the middle east and the Saudis are a critical part of our war against terrorism....we do not need to attack their culture .....we just need to protect our own...which means keeping out muslims.

Maybe the House of Saud is not as powerful or in control of the radical Islamic sects within its own nation. Maybe they are somewhat being threatened that if they do not allow these monsters to operate with their Shia "laws" or Wahhabis or whatever else, then the Saudi govt would be attacked and topple. I cannot believe Bin Salman approved of this or his govt. But there is something wrong with a religion where its radical "fringe" is so bloodthirsty and hateful and large.

Good points....and as previously pointed out the Saudis are a key part in our strategy to contain Iran and its nuclear ambitions.

The real lesson we need to learn from this episode of which there are many,many examples across muslim lands on a daily basis is to not allow muslims to immigrate here. We could fill the liberals demand for immigration diversity to allow Christian Arabs who are heavily persecuted to immigrate here.
