5th District in Virginia see split GOP

Virginia Politics Blog - Will 5th district Republicans unite behind Robert Hurt?

Clark has already filed to run in November and will, most likely, be the Tea Party favorite. Yet another example of the Tea Party taking the advantage away from the GOP because a candidate is not conservative enough.

The non-tea party repug can always do the 'bigger man' thing and step aside for 'unity'.

That ain't gonna happen. The Non-Tea Party Repug is Hurt who handily won the GOP nomination. Clark is going to run as a third party candidate in November. It could hurt the GOP, depending on how much support from the local Tea Party that he garners. Hurt is not a Tea Party favorite.

I'm willing to destroy the republican party to save it. I think we should boycott all McCains in the party.
