Here is what I have searched for and learned about "Irish Slaves". Based on what appeared to really happen to them, was their plight comparable to Black slaves.?

Were they able to re enter society as full citizens with no restrictions that were similar to Jim Crow?

being able to re enter society does not dismiss the fact that they were slaves beforehand

First of all the Irish were not actually slaves. They were indentured servants. Do you understand the difference between chattel slavery and indentured servitude?

Being that they were able to re enter society as full fledged citizens with all of the rights of citizenship and the right to vote, and no restrictions that lasted lawfully for 100 years after they were freed, does not evenly remotely equate to what former black slaves endured.
