47% remark vaults Romney to 47/47 tie in Gallup

LOL Snippy, what the hell are you snorting? Or are you doing acid?

President Obama 247 Governor Romney 191

RealClearPolitics - 2012 Election Maps - Electoral Map

The swing states that favored the President by less than 1% yesterday, now favor him by over 2%. The only swing state for Romney is North Carolina, both Ohio and Virginia President Obama ahead by nearly 5%. And the President only needs 23 electorial votes, those states represent 33 electorial votes.

Gallup is a seven day rolling average, wait a few days for the 47% remark to start dragging Romney down. There has only been one day of polling since the remark.

Look how much Rasmussen moved after one day of polling. They use a three day rolling average.

You'll have several hundred threads to bump if you want to get them all.

Let's do an inventory;

Those who were right - Pollsters. Except for Rasmussen.
Those who were wrong - 99.9999% of conservatives in America.

The denial was off the charts.

1. Before the first debate, it was "The polls are all wrong because they are skewed to liberals."

2. After the first debate, it was "All the polls show Romney is going to win!"

And as always

3. "Rasmussen is God's gift to polling."

It's pretty amusing in retrospect.

Obama is president. Romney pumps his own gas.

He's looking a little "sloppy".

That's true however, what I'm doing is strategically bumping threads started by GOP blowhards. Hopefully, they're still subscribed to them and they get a nice little twist of the knife every time the subscription e-mail shows up in their in box or on the User CP.

Just rattling their cage a little bit.

I don't find it amusing so much as I find it shocking that people who should know better were, as a group, lead down the garden path on this.

As the provisional ballots continue to be counted, Romney keeps dropping. He's now at 47.42%. Which rounds to 47%. Meaning Romney voters are now officially the 47%.
