What a shock. They are not treated with respect and honor, that should be given to them.

They are put in a position where if they don't do their job, you scream. If they do, do their job, you scream. No matter what they do, you scream.

The vast majority of police only want to make society a better place to live, and they are attacked from every single direction by the society they want to help improve.

I'm not shocked at all by this. My relative came back from Iraq, considered joining the police force, and decided against it. He felt more appreciated by the foreign people he was defending, when he was stopping the Mujahedin, than how police are treated here protecting their own people from rapists, murderers, muggers, drug dealers, gangs and robbers.

We have more rules on police officers, than we do on banks. All they want to do, is make a difference and stop the criminals in our society, and they are tied up in so many rules and regulations on their conduct, that no officer could ever do their job without breaking one.
