40 Facts That Prove The Working Class Is Being Systematically Wiped Out

Without an abundance of good jobs, the middle class in the United States is going to shrivel up and die. Right now, rampant unemployment is absolutely killing communities all over America.

Hopelessness and poverty are exploding and many are now wondering if we are actually witnessing the slow death of the middle class. There simply are not nearly enough "good jobs" to go around anymore, and even many in the mainstream media are referring to this as a "long-term structural problem" with the economy.

The only thing that most working class Americans have to offer in the marketplace is their labor. If nobody will hire them they do not have any other ways to provide for their families. Well, there is a problem.

Today wealth has become incredibly centralized. The big corporations and the big banks dominate everything. Thanks to incredible advances in technology and thanks to the globalization of our economic system, the people with all the money don't have to hire as many ordinary Americans anymore. They can hire all the labor they want on the other side of the globe for a fraction of the cost. So the rich don't really have that much use for the working class in America anymore. The only thing of value that the working class had to offer has now been tremendously devalued. The wealthy don't have to pay a lot for physical labor anymore.

To the cheers of conservatives?

Speaking for myself only ... a conservative ... I'm not cheering at the fact that the middle-class is slipping away. I'm part of that middle-class! My place of employment just went through another reduction in force. Another round of layoffs! Friends of mine, middle-class friends ( both liberal and conservative ) have been laid off and you think that somehow because I'm a conservative I'm happy about that. You're wrong Sallow.

Government taxes the middle class and gives money to the poor. It taxes the middle class and bails out rich corporations and "too big to fail businesses." The middle class is a result of free market capitalism, a phenomenon Karl Marx failed to predict. As our government continually expands its power, the middle class will continue to decline. We subsidize everyone and in return we lose. That is the cost of big government.

Yep.

To the cheers of conservatives.
I'm a libertarian, but I never have heard a conservative say anything about wanting to see the middle class go. Considering the middle class is a roadblock to socialist revolution, standing in between the rich and the poor Karl Marx thought would clash, it doesn't even logically make sense that a conservative would have such cheers.

Why are Righties so damn worried about Karl Marx? This country is totally controlled by wealthy people who want nothing to do with Karl Marx. Therefore, Karl Marx is irrelevant, other than to stir up people who do not know how the world works. Or at least how the United States works.

Righties have more to worry about within their own camps, which pull them ever closer toward ideological purity tests, religious tests, religious intolerance, lifestyle intolerance, science-denial, and xenophobia.

Righties have more to fear from Karl Rove than they do Karl Marx.

Liar. Has TruthDon'tMatter hacked your log in, cuz you and she are like fucking twins.
What the fuck do you care? You're not a conservative!

There will no longer be a function for an American working class when all industry has been driven offshore by excessive regulation and punitive taxation. Once you accept the inevitability of that numbness will replace your pain.
