I don't know who wrote that newspaper account but it sure as hell is hard to tell if there were four intruders. :eusa_shifty: or just one.

One of the invaders was killed by the homeowner and the others wounded. Bad homeowner, good invaders?

"All I know is that if there were no guns there would be at least one less dead person today! Gun owners, this blood is on YOUR hands!" :uhoh3:

That is correct. But guns are manufactured for defense at all levels. The President, politicians, cabinet members, Congressmen, Senators, Hollywood, and elite ALL rely on guns to protect them. Shouldn't any law-abiding, mentally healthy American Citizen Adult be permitted to do so?

How many people would have been shot if there were no guns involved?

Hmmm.

Get out a pencil and work it out.

Pretend it's a word problem and draw a picture.

Gun = 4 people shot.

No Guns = X people shot.

The article states that one intruder was dead and 3 others injured.

Those 4 criminals DESERVED to be shot.

Thank God for the homeowner's guns!!

Intruders like that usually have previous records. They get their guns from gun shows.

So now we have liberals proposing that if there were no guns no one would have been killed. Right, time to face reality, furthermore, that these criminals purchased their guns at a gun show, now that is about as stupid as a liberal can get. Well, maybe not. So lets see how this plays out once the facts are disclosed.

Time to face reality, nutless. I know it terrifies you, but tough shit.

Not according to the FBI, Deano...

I was just guessing. Apparently you have a link. Care to post it?

I do. And it says that you're full of shit.

In 1997 among State inmates
possessing a gun, fewer than 2%
bought their firearm at a flea market
or gun show, about 12% from a retail
store or pawnshop, and 80% from
family, friends, a street buy, or an
illegal source.

Also, for those who want to criminalize scary black bullet hoses:
Less than 2% of inmates reported
carrying a fully automatic or
military-style semiautomatic firearm

Fewer than 1 in 50 State and Federal
inmates used, carried, or possessed a
military-style semiautomatic gun or a
fully automatic gun during their current
offense (table 2). These guns, as used
in the questions and definitions for the
personal interviews with prison
inmates, include the following:
• military-style semiautomatic pistol —
similar to a conventional semiautomatic
pistol except that the magazine
or clip is visible3
• military-style semiautomatic rifle —
a semiautomatic rifle with military features
such as a pistol grip, folding
stock, flash suppressor, or bayonet
mount
• military-style semiautomatic shotgun
— a semiautomatic shotgun with
military features such as a pistol grip,
folding stock, flash suppressor, or
bayonet mount
• machine gun — a fully automatic gun
which, if the trigger is held down, will
fire rapidly and continuously.

I bet they used a vehicle to get to the scene and clothes to hide their weapons, when ya going to want to ban them?

40% of gun buyers have no background check. It should be 100% checked, with registrations, like cars, all computerized, 1 year in prison for unregistered after a 1 year amnesty period. This is absolutely ridiculous.

When a criminal buys a weapon from another criminal, how would he go about getting a background check?
