Gunmen opened fire on homes across Kirkby during a terrifying 30 minute rampage.
Emergency services were called to Windermere Drive, Stocks Road and Mossborough Drive after reports of shots being fired at houses and a car between 6.25pm and 6.50pm on Monday night.
The properties and vehicle were left with significant damage after a shotgun and handgun were believed to be fired on the residential streets.
Police cordons were erected on the three roads, which were only a mile apart, as forensic officers combed every inch of the scenes for evidence.
