The Dems had control of Congress in 2008, 2009, and 2010. So how come we never saw a bill from them to change the corp tax rate? Same reason we haven't seen one from the repubs either, the pols use it to garner support for the next election.

Tell ya what though, I am good with rewriting the corp tax code to strip out every deduction, loophole, credit, everything; then lower the rate to make up the difference. Both sides are going to have to agree to make some tough decisions; if the GOP in gets next November, we'll see if they do what the dems didn't.
