3 things liberals can't lie about

Funny I thought the claim was Presidents don't effect gas prices?

Presidents can definitely affect the price of gas. The thing is, if you want to complain about the price of gas and blame the President, you kind of have to show how he is causing the rise or how he could lower the price. And so far, no "conservatives" are even attempting that.

How about the fact Obama has placed out of bounds 85 percent of the areas Bush allowed for drilling? Or that he nixed the Canada pipe line? Or that his policies prevent shale from being processed? How about the fact he has announced in the past his entire goal is to make gas so expensive only the rich can afford it, along with electricity and natural gas?

How about the fact his policies will cause over 100 coal fired electric plants to close which have to be replaced. How about the fact his policies are causing US refineries to close? Any of that ring a bell?

Ok. But if all that was having a negative affect on how much oil we are producing, then why are we producing more oil now than under Bush?

"come to fruition"? Don't you mean repealed?

Yes, thanks for the correction.

And who was President when that happened? Who signed it? Which President and his Vice president initiated policies to force banks to loan to potential homeowners that did not meet the strict guidelines banks had been using? Who appointed the leader of Fannie and Freddie that oversaw the removal of regulations to control lending for homes?

It passed via a veto-proof majority. A veto was not an option.

Our refineries are closing due to Obama policy. So we have to either buy gas not oil or use less. Obama policies are shutting down Oil Refineries. And the liberal requirement for something like 20 different grades of gas make it hard to make gas in the States.

Does the President control the price of gasoline?

Yeah, and not all Republicans were happy with Bush, either. Alternatively, you guys are slobbering all over yourselves in your love of all things Obama.

If Bush controlled it in 2008, Obama controls it now.

But will continue to blame Bush and Republicans...

Thier campaign will be Blame, Minimize, Deny, Obfuscate.

And wants to add $1.2T more to it.

I believe unemployment was at 7.8 but why quibble. The economy was shedding 750,000 jobs a month when Bush finally left office. It is now gaining 250,000 jobs a month. The Obama economy is making a million jobs a month more than Bush left him with

Gas dropped momentarily to $1.78 and then quickly shot up again. Lest we forget, Bush gave us our first $4.00 a gallon gas

Bush debt was $11.3 trillion and he was given a budget surplus when he started. Bush doubled his debt. Obamas budget has to compensate for two Bush wars, an unfunded Medicare Part D and a $2 trillion Bush tax cut

Ya gotta love the fantasy land the rw's live in. They lie and tell us its fact while they ignore facts and say they're lies.

Fact is, the economy/jobs/growth all tank while R's are in office and and grow (like NOW) under Dems. they can pretend its not true but that won't change the facts.

7) America's bond rating was lowered under Papa Obama

We all know who played a big part in that. In fact, if polls are to be believed, a good many people hold the "loyal opposition" reponsible for that.

IOW, this particular argument is crap.

disclosure: I voted against Obama, twice.

You HAVE to admit facts like: there were predictions of imminent collapse of the US and world economies when Obama came into office.

Unemployment numbers were bleeding when Bush left.

There was very little to no job creation with Bush tax cuts for wealthy.

Under GOP and Bush, two wars went unfunded.

so yeah, things are tough, but better than they were.

:eusa_whistle:

Who funds the wars? Oh that would be Congress. You know, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed.
You stupid f()ck. Stop showing off your ignorance. It's distressing.

Pelosi served as the 60th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011. /// The 2003 invasion of Iraq (19 March – 1 May 2003),

Some of what you say is true.
It's also true that while things are better than they were, sometimes there is no where to go but up. That is what the enemic[sic] growth being experienced right now is. The left seems to be parroting the Obama administration about a "new normal." That's failure and not an option.
If what I say is true? NO! What I said is true. :eusa_hand:

If the Bush/Cheney White House and the GOP led Congress drove the USA into a ditch (with help from Clinton and Dems who bought conservative fiscal arguments) and Obama walks into a mess...

There is anemic-no growth world wide. The new normal is the result of decades of supply side and conservative fiscal/economic dogma put into play.

furthermore we could right now flood the market and bring gas was down if we wanted too, but that would take the Government mandating what the oil is for......So.....These fucktards don't want that, but they will blame Obama...

No, they don't want it because oil prices coming down would take away something to bash him with. They know people wouldn't really care about "government mandating" part, but high prices at the pump....

Really? Then how do you explain the record high refinery output?
