You can't make this up. McCain and company aren't "happy" with Susan Rice's testimony. They think she should have identified that the CIA talking points were incorrect and should have done "more work" to tell the American People the truth.

First off..the administration and the CIA are openly admitting they are operating in a foreign country. They really want to press this?

Can you imagine if there was a political firestorm about a protest of the Russian embassy in the US and Putin said according to the information he received from the KGB it was the fault of occupy wallstreet.

Americans would go nuts. KGB? Here? In the embassy? Is the embassy a KGB listening post?

They are cutting it pretty close. The focus is quickly going to be on CIA operations in Libya.

Those are technically..illegal.

:dig:

I think it's gonna be MORE about "transparency".

There shouldn't have been ANYTHING made available to the American-public, until the entire event had been fully investigated.

Look what DID happen.

Early/initial info was made public, and....as usual....the Teabaggers & John McCain (who's desperate for some relevancy) go full-blown SPAZOID!!!!!

The GOP (and John McCain, in particular) are trying to pick a fight in order to publicly stand up to Obama and deny him his choice for Sec of State. It's an attempt of the GOP to show everyone that they can stand up to Obama and beat him even though they can't beat him in an election.

The three stooges: obamaturd, clinton, and rice should not have lied for two weeks if they did not want to be held accountable. The three stooges need to pay the price.

Obamaturd lied, people died. He and his fellow stooges are to blame. Idiot.

3 stooges, after almost 3 months of investigating and they still don't know anything. Sounds like the stooges are on obama's team.

3 possibilities when it comes to the dispute over Rice being nominated for Sec of State.

1. Obama doesn't nominate Rice for whatever reason. Conservatives might try to spin it that they denied Obama his first choice.

Obama nominates her, and...

2. Rice's confirmation is either bogged down (and withdrawn), or her confirmation fails in the Senate. Republicans portray it as a victory. Then they feel emboldened to fight him on even more fronts, or...

3. Rice is confirmed by the Senate, and the Republicans limp off to lick their wounds yet once again.

Hell....even McCain knows she's gonna be the next Sec. Of State!!!!

He's still pissed-off since others picked Snooki Palin for him....and, he proceeded to GET HIS ASS KICKED, in 2008!!!!!!

Woooooosshhhhhhh..

Over your head.

:doubt:

Well..it does prove one thing. Conservatives really should have nothing to do with foreign affairs or covert ops.

They really have no idea what it's all about.

From you to McCain.

Yes..she can see Russia from her porch. In fact she was monitoring Putin's secret flights in jet fighters.

I have to admit the hate language from the left certainly has ratcheted up since the election. Four more years of division coming from the left and blaming the right. Sad, very sad.

if john mccain wanted to be taken seriously on this subject he should not have complained about a lack of information and then skipped a classified briefing on the subject.

that move by the republicans cost them any moral high ground they wanted to claim in my book.

All the objective evidence contradicts your claim.

Americans had 4 years to watch Obama in action, and they (we) re-elected him.

Americans soured on Palin not too long after her initial impressive roll-out at the RNC convention in 2008 because she continued to embarrass herself by trying to bluff her way through interviews and then engage in public tantrums because she didn't like the way she was treated.

Now, if ANYONE has had a justification to protest his treatment in the last four years, it's been President Obama, but he doesn't get down in the gutter with all the whiners and complainers probably because he's aware that they're just trying to bait him into responding to their nonsense.

Please, PLEASE talk Sarah Palin into running for President in 2016. Let's see what she's learned in the 7 years since she left the governorship of Alaska.

Just remember when she appears before this senate she'll be under oath.

Susan Rice should easily be confirmed. She is incompetent and this entire regime is one of incompetency. Someone better qualified might challenge obama on his decrees. No dictator can tolerate a competent person in office. What they demand is personal loyalty and Rice has that. Even though John Kerry doesn't want to be Secretary of Defense, he is so over the top unqualified he should be awarded the office based on political patronage. We don't have cabinet positions, we have Dukedoms and Baronial estates. The offices are rewards for personal sacrifice to the crown.
The government is one of unchallenged royal largesse.
