3 People (Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos & Warren Buffett) are richer than the poorest 50% of Americans

That's right! And, that is the reason that your annual income is increasing at the same percent as Buffett's, Trump's, and Gates'!

I certainly have no complaints.

Now that I'm retired, it has leveled off since I'm not buying or trading any more rentals although the money I have in the stock market has gone crazy.

Nice dodge

We the People created a government in a document we like to call "The Constitution"
A government of the people, by the people and for the people (thanks Abe)

It's not a dodge. I'm pointing out an error in your conception of the kind of government the Constitution authorizes. The founders never wanted totalitarian government. They never saw people as the property of the state. They insisted it should be the other way around. That's the irony of you going around chanting "We the People". You seem to think it's a rallying cry for socialists, when it fact it's the opposite. The slogan emphasizes the primacy of people over government. We the People create government, and government serves at our discretion - not, as you would have it - the other way around.

Very true

Our people are not the property of the state....they ARE the state
Nor of each other which is why your pompous quoting of the constitution is a massive fail.

It does not equate to people being owned by society which was your original claim

We ARE society

No we are not.

Society is merely an idea it is not a real thing

You sound like one of my philosophy professors! "Is that doorknob there...or is it not there? Is it real or is it not real?"

America’s 10 wealthiest men — they are all men — are collectively worth more than $633 billion. And their combined wealth has risen by nearly $116 billion since the start of this year alone

Clearly that is a bad analogy as I made a statement of fact I did not ask a question

Nothing's wrong.

You don't like it, stop buying their products.

There might be something wrong. That's what's frustrating about these threads. It may be that there's something crooked about the way their wealth was created. But the socialists aren't really interested in getting to the bottom of possible corruption. To them, the problem is that individuals control wealth in the first place. Even if you could prove that every single trade and business dealing that contributed to Jeff Bezos' fortune was honest and legitimate, they'd still complain. Even if we proved that every trade was fully informed and voluntary, they'd still be upset. They want economic power to be under control of government. That's the bottom line.

No, you made a philosophical statement. I responded in a like manner.

"A society is a group of people involved in persistent social interaction, or a large social group sharing the same geographical or social territory, typically subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations. Societies are characterized by patterns of relationships (social relations) between individuals who share a distinctive culture and institutions; a given society may be described as the sum total of such relationships among its constituent of members. In the social sciences, a larger society often evinces stratification or dominance patterns in subgroups."
