3 Days of the Condor-1975 vs the 2018 series

The 1975 Condor was a gem of a movie. It didn't need car chases or outrageous gunfights. It was a well done drama that made sense. I'm afraid the new Condor is just another special effects movie designed for the video game set.

Very good movie...when Redford gets back from lunch and finds everyone dead he is really convincing....well acted and well directed film...

Condor is kind of a mild CIA renegade who literally cuts security corners at lunchtime and it saves his life.The quirky staff includes a receptionist who keeps a loaded .45 in her desk and Condor instinctively grabs it, although he is a pacifist, when he finds everyone dead.

In the remake, Turner will have to be transgender who works at an e-book publisher. Every day at noon, Turner leaves the office to grab a kale salad at a low carbon footprint food cart. Of course, his main means of transportation to and from the office will still be a bicycle, except he will wear a helmet in this version.

During his flight after the office massacre, the woman he/she kidnaps will have to be a bi-racial CEO of a software company. They will cross paths in a Starbucks, escape in a Prius, and a white hitman dressed as an Amazon delivery driver will show up at her Manhattan loft to kill them with an AR-15 with a high capacity magazine.
