Texan who published 3-D guns plans jailed on sex assault charge

A Texas man running a 3-D printed guns company was booked into a Houston jail on a charge of sexual assault on Sunday after Taiwanese officials sent him back to the United States, where he is accused of having sex with an underage girl.

Cody Wilson, 30, flew to Taiwan after learning he was under investigation, police said, and was picked up by Taiwanese authorities on Friday after his U.S. passport was annulled. He was deported to the United States on Saturday.

Countdown for Alex f-ing Cox to scream "he was framed".... 4...3...2...1

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Hope they have a 3-d printer in the prison library and use it to make something special for the rapist.

There is nothing 'pioneering' about 3D guns.

CNC design files for firearms have been around for decades. CNC allows parts and pieces on digital files to but turned out in metal on inexpensive automated machines. These parts would be suitable for firearms where plastic part turned out on a 3D printer would be totally unsuitable for guns.

On the low-tech end, books have been around since the '50s that include plans, templates, and detailed instructions for turning out steel firearms with simple shop tools.

None of that matters. Brain dead gun nuts thought it was their first ever chance to make their own guns, and saw it as a political statement. Their ignorance made him rich.

Crazy coincidence that he gets charged with the kind of crime that it’s taboo to question; hot off the heels of thumbing his nose at DC politicians, who wanted to stop his product... Crazy!!!

Well, then it's case closed, I guess.

All people who would dare learn how to make a firearm are baby fucking pedophiles.

Or maybe not.

Of course guns could be home made before 3D printing. Lots of those who got so excited about the plans for that printed gun didn't seem to know that.

Just as those who became so terrified a a plastic printer didn't know that.
