Nah, it's not envy. I'm happy that Americans have the opportunity to become filthy rich, whether it is all by hard work or even by luck. I just think they should pay a reasonable amount of those earnings in taxes. That doesn't mean to rape them and redistribute their wealth; it just means they should pay a fair rate, and that fair rate should be somewhat higher than the middle class, not much lower than the middle class.

Everyone should have lower taxes. Its our money, not the government's. We're told that we need to sacrifice and give more to a govt that spends our hard earned dollars frivolously. Ha! No thanks. We've done our fair share. Its time for the govt to do without and pay off the bills.

Cool. Government's biggest expense is the military.

Let's CAP it at 100 billion a year. No one's taxes would ever need to be raised. In fact..they could be lowered.

“I didn’t say I wasn’t a fan of his, I said I thought he was a pretty goo guy. At least he seems to be — I never met him. I just thought that we need that a president, in my opinion, needs to spend more time governing and less time with other things instead of just campaigning, I guess. But that’s just one opinion and that’s the way I believe it should be done,” Eastwood told TheDC at the opening of the Warner Bros theater in the National Museum of American History in Washington Wednesday.

“Now, whether any of these other guys [Republicans] would be any better, it’s a coin flip.”

When asked whom he would vote for as a “self-described libertarian,” Eastwood said, “You want me to go for Ron Paul, is that it?”
