The fight for minority rights has been a tough one in this country. The right to be free, the right to own property, the right to vote, the right to equality in employment. These are hard won and legitimate rights of equal men and women.

Fighting for the right to participate in a symbolic ceremony mocks those other fights for equality.

You mistakenly think the big government you so adore, protects your rights. They don't. How much evidence of government abusing American rights do you need to wake up?

More government means less liberty. This has been true for several millennia. If only you understood history.

Every racial discrimination that Americans have had to overcome was imposed on them by their own government. Slavery, loss of franchise, discrimination in housing and education, all of these and more has been the law of the land at one point or another.

Look at what's happening in Europe. And it doesn't seem like the ones coming here are shucking that crazy muslim religion either, considering that the number of mosques in this country are growing at an alarming rate. No, it's not the conservatives that you and the other homos, as well as so called liberated women should be worried about.
