I shot these photos on the way to Vegas. Because of near perfect early morning conditions, the right side of the plane, a clean window and far enough in front of the wing, they are better than I have ever been able to get before. I used a Nikon D70 with only 6 megapixels and no polarizer. What an amazing country we have.

Here's a couple my sister just got on a business trip to Vegas... this is downtown Vegas and I can see one of my old apartment complexes on E. Karen St. in it....

And then she shot this one taking off.... God I'm glad to finally be out of Nevada...

Vegas always looks so beige and dull during the day..but boy is it pretty at night...

Yeah there's probably not a more lit city in the world than Vegas, but I think the beige is air pollution.
