21st century American capitalism

Hey ya wanna know something else horrific?

I got more cookies than you AND they are bigger AND they got more chips in them.

typical clown liberal without IQ to make sense
leftist are the kid that cries b/c he thinks his cookie is smaller and demands that mommy make it fair and won't stop crying until she has more cookie than her sibling and once she does have more cookie, cries b/c her milk is warm now and won't stfu until mommy brings a new glass, then cries b/c her sibling is outside playing with friends.

of course her sibling is a conservative that thanked mommy for the cookie and milk, enjoyed it and had permission to go play since he was done.

leftist never learn to be happy, they never will be happy b/c they can't learn.

true enough. Govt must always be bigger without end. If liberals could not promise that they would have no reason to exist. Milton Friedman loved to point out that the American Socialist Party eventually got everything it wanted by 1938!! But here we are 100 years later with 100 times more than they ever imagined, and still it is not enough. Its never enough. If fact there is a book by that name.

I see my thread struck a nerve w/ the von Mises, hack cranks (Krugman's name for them lol)

I'm just curious how someone else's salary is any of your business
because I was under the impression that we lived in a representative republic as opposed to a plutocracy.
Using your high IQ, will you tell us, please, how someone else's wealth being your business relates to American republicanism?

poor dottie, her IQ cookie is smaller than mine so she's mad at the unfairness of it all.

to improve 21Century capitalism the single most important thing we could do is eliminate Obamacommiecare [20% of entire economy]and replace it with capitalism: people shopping with their own money, providers competing on basis of price and quality.

The result would be prices 20% of current levels and 10-20 increase in life expectancy.

in 1920 there was a depression, Harding (R) cut taxes and cut Fed spending in 1/2, the depression lasted 18 months and led to the Roaring 20's
FDR (D) got a Depression, he raised taxes and ramped up Fed spending making the depression last for decades (some say until RR took over)

Obama is the smartest man in the room and is surrounded by people that are the smartest people in the room when he's not around, knew this history and knew for a fact that upping taxes and Fed spending does, in historical fact, makes things worse.

but getting leftist to care about facts, actual real world proven facts vs theories on paper is as hard as....

well, once I achieve doing it, I might have a reference point.

New theories?

no, not new, they still think the old ideas will work, this time.

Yes I have heard the left will give it up only after it has killed 100 million more people.

Really?

Since when do they care about human lives?

100 million dead would leave them with 5-6 billion to go.

Airport Association

The levels of business investments in airports (i.e., shops) really reflects a modern age focus on traffic-consciousness hype.

The environments inside major airports such as LAX (Los Angeles, California) and London Heathrow offer intriguing windows into the culture of ornamental-capitalism.

well, you hope with 100 million dead the left would see the pattern and not go on to repeat the mistakes of the past, let alone kill the earth's entire population, but one never knows where the left is concerned.

If capitalism has fundamentally changed with networking technologies (i.e., eTrade), we should re-evaluate the nature of capitalism theory as it was outlined by the great philosopher and analyst Adam Smith in his vocal book "The Wealth of Nations" (1776).

Adam Smith suggested that productivity is related to the vitality of free markets and division of labour arises from the natural instinct to trade and negotiate.

In other words, Smith argued that capitalism must be evaluated in terms of the viability of contracts.

Many philosophers and politics analysts have assessed the nature and mechanics of contracts. When contracts are forged, expectations are derived on multiple levels, and when they are broken, revolutions are observed.

Two of the great works of literature that explore the psychological impact of contracts are Hans Christian Andersen's betrayal-forgiveness "The Little Mermaid" (1837) and Charles Dickens' intrigue-normalization "A Tale of Two Cities" (1859). The former looks at the value of a wishful spirit's broken heart in a world governed more by instinct than daydreams. The latter looks at human meanderings in times of great social traffic.

When assessing the intriguing advancement of capitalism achievements such as eTrade or Windows Mobile, we could assess the design of contracts.
