Why? Can you explain why that is important? Can you explain what is meant by "controls for CO2", in relationspecifically to this subfield of the science and to studies referenced? Have you already looked for yourself?

In science terms, that means you'd hold all the other variables steady and just change CO2 levels.
Then you'd see how the results change. That way you could say, "The temperature was 90 F with CO2
at 410 ppm, at 415 ppm, the temperature will be 92 F"

We are having an increase in natural disasters because of the present warming and the melting of the arctic sea ice. Even you stated that is the case, as in the extreme rain amounts in Houston from Hurricane Harvey.

There appears to be an inference here....that these extreme weather events can somehow be marginalized. But even a fifth grader can figure out that such thinking would be silly.....plus there is zero reliable scientific evidence anything humans do would be effective....far too many variables. Only BOZO science would not concur.

And the fact of the matter is, a majority of people think we cant do sick to control these extreme weather events....its not like they are some new phenomenon to them. It matters. They have far more pressing real concerns to worry about...not even debatable.
