No what he said was that ISIS was contained in its capture of territory in Iraq and Syria. He was correct, in fact, ISIS has lost 25% of its peak expansion.

Sgt. Joshua Wheeler, killed in Iraq in October, was the FIRST US combat soldier to die fighting ISIS.

ONE. Add to that a handful of US civilian deaths.

Contrast that to the number of Americans killed this year by rightwing domestic terrorists.
