Frankly what they post tells you what they are, sorry.

You are able to tell that they are takers from their posts? Was that post #1347 "I am on welfare because I don't feel like rolling out of bed?" What happened to conservatives. They seem to have devolved into people who make baseless accusations.

And don't call me Frankly.

Shirley you jest?

If they'd work as hard as they cry they'd be alright.

What has happened to you Lefty's........why do you think we owe you anything?

I am a moderate so I do not know what happened to lefties. I do believe that people who can should help themselves, but I also believe in social good. I believe that people who worked their entire lives are owed the retirements promised them, but corporations pretty stole the retirements in private industy over the past twenty years. I believe that families should not be on welfare for generations. I also believe it would be a shame if the next Albert Einstein did not attend college because he could not afford to.

Make up your mind, it is Shirley or is it Frank? Next some right wingnut is going to claim I am a transexual or some left winger is going to proposition me.

One thing every single person can agree on is that this election is a choice between two visions for America.

A.) We stop kicking the can down the road for future generations to deal with, stop trading handouts for power, and make the tough decisions now. We do the unpopular things to save America and future generations. We end the national collapsing gravy-train for the parasite class. We decide to let those who aren't willing to provide for themselves (the Lahkota's, JoeB.'s, Chris's, etc.) fall by the way side so that America can thrive. We ask 18 year olds to sacrifice for this country every day in the military - up to and including - sacrificing their life. If we can ask that of 18 year olds, we can ask the same thing of 40+ year old's who are not willing to work and make their own way in life. This option ends with a few who are not willing to work falling by the way side, but ultimately ends with America thriving once again.

B.) We continue the redistributive policies of communism/marxism/socialism that ultimately ends with the collapse of America. This appeases the parasite class and buys their votes. It sustains power for those who are only concerned with their own power. And although it ends with the complete collapse of America, it does so with all of us "equal" in poverty and misery.

See how debt continues to rise regardless of which party is in power? Does anybody really believe either Obama or Romney is going to turn that around?

I certainly hope not.

All over Europe, we're seeing the failure of the democratic socialist welfare system. It is, as Daley writes, incompatible with free market capitalism. By its nature, it inhibits growth and production so we end up with all these free riders and not enough producers to support them all.

It's no accident that this country has enjoyed the marvelous success that it has. And it's amazing to me that we have all these leftists here who can't SEE why.

:clap2:

I do not require anything of substance

Boy if that isn't the liberal mantra

How did you derive that they are takers

I know this is a bit "radical" for liberals, but rather than the things that first come to your mind (tarot cards, a wegie board, or reading tea leaves), do you know what I did? I've read their own words. Far too many times unfortunately. It's amazing if you skip the voodoo stuff you liberal's use, and go straight to the facts right from the horses mouth as we conservatives do, what you can accurately ascertain.

Not all over Europe - Mediterranaen Europe would be more correct, and I'll think you'll find it is the type of societies they are that causes the problems, not the poltics. The Scandinavian and other northern European countries have also had left-leaning but aren't suffering the same.

Free market capitalism is why were are in the shit in the first place. So that doesn't work either....

That's the spirit KK - complete and total defeatism!

Yes, history has taught us that both party's have been irresponsible with the American people's tax dollars. But that was when we only had a choice between big-government liberals (aka Republicans) and radical communists/socialists/marxists (aka Dumbocrats). Then the American people finally reached their breaking point and sent conservatives to Washington (aka Tea Party).

If Mitt Romney is given a conservative majority in both the House & Senate, I have no doubt you will see significant change in how Washington spends.

I hadn't realised Stalin was standing for election in America.

Honestly, Rottweiler - when you post garbage like this, could you imagine any possible response except laughter?

First of all, who is this "we" shit? You're an idiot fucking Aussie. You don't even belong here since this is the United States Message Board.

Second, the lack of Free Market Capitalism is "why were are in the shit in the first place". The government has been regulating the hell out of the market for over a century now, so it is far from "free" stupid.

How do you even think about calling it "free" when both Bill Clinton AND Barack Obama forced banks to give loans to people who couldn't afford them? Yet another glaring example of how stupid and biased you are....

Really? Which countries do you mean?

Given the UK, Germany and Spain all have conservative government, and given none of the PIIGS ever had anything you could call "socialist" welfare....I mean...I live in one of them, and I didn't know it was failing, so it would be good to clear that up.

The Democrats can switch to their ball-control game now, pounding it out on the ground with low-risk plays and running out the clock. The Democratic convention will be professional, positive, free of surprises and very effective. When you're ahead and you have a good ground game, you can play ball control. In contrast, the Republicans are already resorting to hail mary passes like Ryan and Eastwood.

Romney is the first candidate in recent history to not get any significant convention bump. Obama is ahead in all but one swing state, even before the Democratic convention. At the presidential level, this thing is pretty much already over. Now it's become a question of how many congressional seats the Democrats can pick up.

Well, the electoral college is controlled by the GOP thanks to the November 2010 elections. Now, you can wish all you want for Obama, but it doesn't change reality. So the real question is, will you have the backbone to show up on USMB the day after Romney has won the election in a landslide?

So are you saying that the fix is already in and electors are gonna vote for Romney no matter how many votes the Prez gets?

There is no "fix" stupid - they were sent to Washington for the express purpose to stop the radical marxist dictator called Barack Obama. Do you think conservatives won in epic, historical landslide numbers because America supports Barack Obama? :cuckoo:

the radical marxist dictator called Barack Obama

Wow - so now Obama is Kim Il Jung as well?!

Let me guess, Rottweiler - you have never in your life been to a country which suffers genuine oppression, right?

I do think that if you spent a little time in genuinely oppressed countries you might be able to tell the difference between Kansas and Korea.

Wonderful, wonderful posting!

Why?

Reagan, Bushs Snr and Jnr both borrowed and spent like drunks.

The GOP's record on spending is no better than the Democrats across the past 50 years, and I don't see denying that helps the cause terribly much.

Given that you're full of shit and misinformation, I will clear this up for everybody.

First of all, England has been dominated by socialist left-wing nuts in their Parliament for well over 30 years now. And they were the one's who implemented the failed universal healthcare that is bankrupt and which they are now desperately trying to decentralize. And Greece & Spain are even worse.

By the way, if you live in one of those nations, then get the fuck off the United States Message Board and go spread your misinformation on a European message board.

I explained why. Perhaps you should acknowledge the entire post and not take one sentence out of context. I acknowledged that the left had become so radical, they were able to transform the GOP into big-government liberals.

  • Obama illegally shoved through socialized medicine by purchasing votes (the Cornhusker Kickback and the Louisiana Purchase). When you shove your ideology through against the will of the people, that is a dictator.

  • He has illegally bypassed Congress many dozens of times. When you bypass the balance of power, you are a dictator.

  • He is unconstitutionally forcing the American people to purchase health care. The federal government does NOT have the power to force American's to purchase a good or service. If that's not oppression, what is?
Sorry asshole, but like the typical foreigner, you have no fucking idea what you're talking about when it comes to what is going on inside of America. So go the fuck away and find a European message board to spread your ignorance and misinformation on....

At least I can read. If you could, perhaps you'd be aware of the illegal and oppresive actions taken by your marxist dictator. But hey, ignorance is bliss, right? Which is why you are happier than anyone else here....
