The dream of the usual war-returning veterans, subsequent the GOP induced Great Depression of the 1930's, was home ownership. The needless warfare had been waged against the created totalitarian monsters of a more Conservative, GOP, way of life.

In 2009, the GOP members of the House of Representatives, and all but three of their remnant in the Senate: Voted "No" on the Obama-Biden-Pelosi-Reid Stimulus legislation. The likely one reason was the home-buyer's tax relief--Which all Republicans clearly oppose even now. The likely second reason was the refundable income tax credit, even if no federal income tax was owed--Which all Republicans clearly oppose even now.

The home-buyers tax credit had a point to make! Help Restore the Asset Values of U. S. Housing! That is even clear, now that it is gone. Conservatives claim that was never the point. The reason, clearly now shown the people: Is that Conservatives have no concept of how to keep the value of any assets they own!

News Headlines

City of Los Angeles has noted the Republican bankers, of their reputation, have no concept of how to keep up the value of an asset, especially when they own it. Famously, and recently, Rush Limbaugh was so enraged at the prospect of supporting the First Responders of 9/11, in City of New York: That he picked up his marbles and finally left town. Even Pro-Wrestling knows who it is: Who has to leave town!

The GOP of 2009 tried to shift the onus--of the Pro-Wrestling tag(?)--and set about using arithmetic to kill of homeowners, and the shopkeepers in lower income neighborhoods. The Reagan Trajectory would still be intact--with excessively high black teen unemployment rates the norm. The Democrats had moved to fund the First Responders instead of cranking up the state and local tax bases: As though the petty bureaucrats and teachers, and some nature of entitlement to tax-roll funded employment.

State and local revenues have come back, and clearly no thanks to the GOP in the U. S. Federal legislatures, and their Tea Parties.

Stalin's Soviet Union, and Hitler's Third Reich: Knew about the scarcity assumption of economics. Resources are scarce, so the rich and party members get it all. The matter of fact that arithmetic actually, brings about the shortages: Is still not well-understood by their kind.

In evidence, there is the GOP of 2009, at the federal level!

It's all about the redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the top 1%. Right wing politicians can't even bring themselves to say the words "Middle Class".

And how about that "Rand Paul"? Poster boy for the new right. The unemployed are spoiled bellyachers and the poor don't have it that bad. They all own 50 inch HD TV.

Like a parrot.. .continually squawking regurgitated phrases without any clue as to what is really being said..

Try actually dealing in reality instead of the fiction you continually use in a feeble attempt to shine your extremist agenda in some undeserved positive light

$850,000,000,000 for 3,000,000 jobs "Saved" or created.

Yeah, there's a good deal!

Throw in the 2+ trillion deficits Obama and the Dems racked up last year and this and it's almost $1MM per job "saved" or created.

Since it is now clear that asset-ridden Republicans are even unable to try to keep up the value of what they own, then recent commentary of Secretary Robert Reich--of a former Administration--is more to the point. 1% of households with 23% of income happened in 1928, and again in 2007-2008.

The Root Of Economic Fragility And Political Anger | TPMCafe

The article in the link was shown elsewhere.

Analysts were lambasting the increase of GDP earlier this year because there was inventory build-up included. Apparently unbeknownst to businesses, The Obama-Biden-Pelosi-Reid Stimulus program--with virtually no GOP support--was sending out checks, even to lower incomes.

So-called "business-leaders" even want tax breaks, again: Just for them, instead, and on July 14, 2010. That is because they want the federal budget balanced(?).

The problem of concentrated income at the wealthy 1% is that the market that pays them, has none of the money. It doesn't drift down to purchasing power. Businesses then would be said to be lambasting an inventory build-up: Since they know they won't be buying any of it! The "Other Half," in the 99%: Historically have never had the money, before. They know that. They would not be thought to be able to buy any of it. either.

George Bush II, Term I, even came into office with Tax Cuts On The Brain--which apparently addled his ability absorb a National Intelligence Estimate--thinking that a tax cut would stimulate the economy. Unbeknownst to all of Yale University, and the GOP: Mostly the low-income part of the federal income tax rolls: Had no income tax liability. No Stimulus happened, three times.

The Saudis lent the Bush Family, one of their own: And so City of New York buildings otherwise came crashing on down. Rush Limbaugh hates the First Responders to the event, even into 2010. He is rich. The "Other Half," in the 99% aren't supposed to have the money.

When the poor didn't have the money for the mortgages, then the rich financial house came crashing on down. Wealth they had. What they had, they couldn't afford. What they need was a housing program, and a refundable income tax credit: Years ago.

Really... send me a check for $100,000, I'd be happy!

A check to each of us in equal barts ala bush rebate would have been a much better stimulus.

You want to talk redistribution, the HC that workers are paying higher fees to cover the poor is a shitload of redistribution and exactly why the economically challenged dems will get their ass handed to them in Nov.

Is this the stimulus bill the President and Pelosi INSISTED must be signed UNREAD? Since no one read it, how can you claim the republicans were against anything other then a larger deficit?

WAKE the fuck up America, this and a couple other threads are CLEAR, the Liberals want to seize assets and wealth above some number they set. SO much for freedom, the Liberals will decide what you can own and how much money is enough. Further they will TELL you how to spend the money they agree to let you keep.

Math is an intentional act. Since the law raises incomes a fixed percentage--from savings and dividend adjustments and payments, too--and since the Law does that on a widespread basis: Then there is no moral or legal basis to suggest that nobody knows the law.

Even at Fantasize-Along-With-FoxTV-News: Ignorance of the Law Is No Excuse. Likely Conservative jurists, and whatever Clarence Thomas is: Understand that.

In the White House, even: There is a law school professor, who knows this--probably, (from the Ivy League)! Negotiating with BP in fact, then the law professor easily was the right person for the job. The GOP alternative was apparently to put the whole thing into the courtrooms, decades-long, processes. Again, Sarah Palin's Ignorance of the Law is no excuse. Many know the law, and even in Divoirce Courts: Where many will admit that math really doen't apply at all, after all(?)! They are an exception.

The law that raises incomes the fixed percentage--though a standard of living rises equally for all--gets its certain reward! The courts are not involved. (Many will say that, at any rate!)

The GOP knew the certain reward going in, and created TARP! The Bankers got the bonuses, called the federal deficit, and even some interest from the Stimulus Deficit. The Democrats actually bailed out jobs, and at GM they are even continuing, in the summer re-tooling, "slowdown" period.

The Stimulus seems to have set people working, and apparently a lot was spent in QII just ended.

(Actually, Her Majesty's government is even on board with paying First Responders, unllike the Rush Limbaugh adherents: And even in an English, "Austerity" budget, run by Conservatives! Her Majesty's Household will only have millions on which to run!)

The GOP Mantra, regarding BP, was (1) "Due Process," and (2) Long Walks Along The Beach Contemplating Nature(?)!

Actually, Real Lawyers do know a lot about "Class Action" settlements, and who wins therein!

GOP either knows this, or it does not!

(Anyone wonders just it is possible: That The Courts in The Colonies could ever, ever be so wrong?! Macawber aside, that concept of the law, of the Civil Right to a Pittance: Would surely be said unthinkable, in all the history of Western Civilization, of "Freedom?!"))

So even the payments czar for the Gulf Coast Restoration is suggesting upwards of six months emergency payments, as a start.

The contrast is the usual "Class Action," kind of settlement amount: Which is sometimes upwards of 10% of claims. The concept, "found money," applies.

Mostly the "Class Action" settlements are suggested to be, "found money!"

(So even the Tax Credit for home-buying, actually helped raise asset values, in a depressed market--aflush with. . . .unused. . . .water closets. . . .even!)

You are aware that Under Bush the Government cited the rig in question 6 TIMES. Under Obama they gave them a free pass on inspections.

I'm sure your correct, but if you have a link, I would appreciate it.

When you point out the GOP's hostility towards the middle class, the base calls you crazy and reaffirms that hostility with every single statement they make.
