2000-2010 Texas creates 1 million jobs, California losses 100,000, blame Bush?

I've lived in TX and I've lived in CA...my mom is from TX, I have living relatives there and ancestors that helped settle several railroad towns in TX.

You could not pay me enough to move back there. Sorry.

I'm sure the Gulf coast is nice but from what I've seen of the rest of the state, it's too dry, flat, and barren and completely devoid of any character.

It, as well as the rest of the southwest are not even on my long list of places to retire no matter how cheap the living might be.

I love living in Phoenix. One day last month it was 100 degrees with 2% humidity. It will be over 100 and sunny form now until thanksgiving, except for the 2 days of monsoons. I saw a photo of a blue sky with light clouds and became nostalgic, but it passed.

Keep the temp down plz. We will be there for the big V-ball Festival in a few weeks. Last few years have been brutally hot.

Today we have another jobs report
Lets hope its not to bad
