Thirty-three year-old Julie Carr was also convicted of producing child pornography and gross sexual assault and exploitation of a minor.

"When I see child-pornography, I ask myself: Where are the parents? Where are the people who are supposed to be protecting the child?," U.S. District Court Judge John Woodcock said, according to the court transcript. "Well, Ms. Carr, in your case, we know where the mother was."

what do you want to bet i dont care? do you know how many people are sexually abused as children who refuse to continue the chain of abuse? i am sick of that excuse its a flat insult to the unknown number of people who have been molested and fight hard to be normal adults with normal desires and to overcome their own demons and not pass them on.

Some time ago I had the good fortune to view the film "Knock On Any Door," in which the 'hero' kills a police officer, and his lawyer persuades the jury that his childhood abuse was to blame...

I have always believed that, in this case, life imitates art, and too many folks are willing to see mititagation where it doesn't exist.

We are responsible for whatever evil acts we perform.

This woman is from Maine. It will be interesting to see compare her sentence to similar cases in NJ. I guarantee they get less than 20 years. I'm guessing 5.

Gary Cramer of Bridgeton and Rachel Baker of Winslow Township are charged with aggravated sexual assault, conspiracy and 11 counts of endangering a child. The indictments announced Tuesday claim Baker photographed an 8-year-old girl performing a sex act on a 13-year-old boy.

Another woman, Stephanie Bennett of Woodbine, is accused of performing a sex act on an infant.

Prosecutors say Cramer told both women they were his girlfriend to persuade them to make the recordings.

All three are being held in county jails.
