Some 20,000 sqkm of forests were destroyed from carpet bombings and B-52 bombers in Vietnam 1965. U.S military dropped 13,000,000 tonnes of bombs in Vietnam forests.

After 40 years, the forests and trees have grown back. All green forests in Vietnam. Same as before.

Why does U.S military gets pulled up for wars ?

I'm assuming that ChinSwee, is short for China Sweet. Anyway, why does any nation go to war, not just the United States? China attempted to invade Japan on multiple occasions. Japan attempted to invade North Korea. Russia invaded Afghanistan. Ottoman Empire invaded Europe in general. Germany invaded France, as well as several other nations. Chile invaded Bolivia. Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina invaded Paraguay.
You point to us as we are the only nation responsible for war. Most nation share blame in war. The reasons:
Territorial greed and disputes, power and influence, politics, religion (that's a major one) and alliances (treaties). Take your pick.
As for Vietnam specifically, is currently in an ongoing territorial dispute between Communist China and Communist Vietnam. Occasionally, they trade shots over it.
As for us being in Vietnam back in the sixties and beginning of the seventies. Three reasons: First and foremost, we entered on a lie that one of our ships had been attacked, which it wasn't. Second, the South Vietnam government did not wish to be ruled under Communism and had been fighting against it. They had been assisted by the French, but the French, not being the best when it comes to warfare, had been losing. In stepped the US to try and keep the South Vietnamese government intact. Third, having a foothold in Vietnam would have given us more influence in that region, militarily and politically as it too was against Communism. What the US Government didn't count on, was the overwhelming coverage of the war brought to American televisions, turned off a lot of the young people, who couldn't see themselves being drafted into some war they had no desire to be a part of. Thus, even though the US military had destroyed the Viet Cong and were making progress against the NVA, public pressure forced the US out of the conflict. Technically, we weren't losing the war on the ground, we let the public influence our military actions. Not a good way to run a war. Fast forward to our more recent wars, you will notice that the media, even though they were imbedded with the troops, were heavily restricted as to what could be shown on camera. A better decision.

Because the National Endowment for the Arts isn't very good at killing people and breaking stuff.
