As their advisor, maybe you should have advised the US manufacturer to cancel their employee group health plan, and have the employees buy it through ACA. After all, Ford has paid more per year for employee health insurance out of their corporate pocket, than they have paid for steel, since 1977, which is one of the reasons that they manufacture cars in Mexico. Sounds like your advice was not very thorough. Hopefully, your fee wasn't too high.
