Thaks for the great link. This needs to be done more often by our government and taken seriously. The picture of the trillion dollars you gave gives some idea, but I would like to offer another example of one trillion dollars.
One trillion dollars is one million dollars a day, every day for 2739 years. We are currently over 14 times that in debt. That debt is growing at a rate of over 4 billion dollars a day. One billion is one thousand one million dollar bills. Our debt is growing at over 4 times that a day. We are currently borrowing 40% of every dollar spent.
It is my belief that our government has waited too long to correct this and this nation will default within the next 10 years and we will become like a third world country and lose our standing in the world becoming poverty stricken.
