HACKENSACK, N.J. - Just two people in New Jersey will begin receiving coverage Monday under new plans created by federal health care reforms."

Uninsured Slow To Sign Up For Coverage

Why should this Obamadoggle be any different than the mortgage bail out plan (which people are quitting due to the paperwork and bureaucracy being a frelling nightmare)...or the Big Scare over H1N1 for which the government is disposing of $$$M of unused vaccines...or the Big Scare over the Oil Spill (which led to a moratorium and job destruction instead of a concerted, competent effort to contain the oil).

From the linked article:
"Two policies are available, with premiums ranging from $212 to $768 monthly, depending on age."

Duhhh, we have a recession and high unemployment.
consumer spending is down.

Maybe the government needs to spend millions of dollars advertising it like the Bush administration spent on the ads to get Seniors to enroll in their new medicare pill bill? :eusa_eh:

That must be it since no one, not even the Democrats who voted on it, could tell us what was in the bill!

You're a genius!

Umm this is thru private enterprise. BCBS.

No it's not.

It's a government mandate from ObamaCare which is administered via private insurance companies. That is hardly a Private Enterprise endeavor.

did you read the article?
The govt is taking the risk out of selling health care insurance.
If the costs are higher than the policy premiums the govt pays the excess.

Or is fox full of crap yet again?

That's not private enterprise - it's Big Government Cronyism.

It'll be said that the premiums are too high , then force to buy happens and then when it still fails, it will be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, then you'll have lines like this
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_2hbbYJnuo]YouTube - Thousands Turn Out For Free Denny's Breakfast[/ame]

then rations will set in,service will go down for all and then people will STILL complain and demand what.....more god damn government, stupidity just can't be cured.

Certain factions encourage stupidity in America.

and yes the Healthcare reform bill is just more corporate welfare.
As I predicted before the debates began.
corporation want all the tax dollars they can get. It has been the only real "growth" in the US economy for many years.

Those that wrap their lips around one party, those into group think, those that think government is the cure all when all that happens is more and more power is shifted from We the People to government,corporations and other special interests.

uscitizen is wrong. The real growth is not growth at all - it is the massive expansion of the size of government as a ratio of GDP. The increase in size and scope of the government is squashing real economic growth and real job creation.

Obamanomics = Epic Fail

Why can't ObamaCare draw a crowd like this one for Section 8 housing?
