In my local newspaper this morning--a report came out that in my state of Colorado out of the 3 billion in stimulus money that we will be receiving. 500 MILLION will be going to build a new bridge that services a KOA campground. Oh Boy--"we really needed that" & I can't wait to drive over that bridge to get to that campground!! Whoopie! Not only that but the state of Colorado is very worried because they do not have their computers set up to handle all those zero's we'll be receiving. Now they're worried about accounting for all these designated "projects" that the Federal Government wants us to do, where to spend all this money--& let alone how to account for it. I want to thank all you taxpayers, along with your unborn grandchildren for this bridge. Wanna bet--how many other bridges to nowhere we're going to build?
