1961: Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine

ROFLMNAO...

Oh GOD! Now that's precious... It's of the same species of sophistry which gave us 'Christian Sharia' earlier in the week.

What I love MOST about Ronald Reagan was his instinctive understanding of the immutable American principles; and his ability to communicate an unapologetic advocacy of those principles... the innate light of man. And the best part is that this inate ability of President Reagan is the source of all this angst and hatred of him, by the Left.

Like Palin... The Left hates Palin, for NO OTHER REASON, than her instinctive understanding of the truth and her unapologetic determination to spread it around; without concern for who it might offend.

We're Americans... we know the truth and we don't give a flying fuck WHAT YOU THINK.

Shut your goddamn mouth unless you have something intelligent to say...

ROFLMNAO... Oh GOD! I do so adore sweet irony...

But honestly friends; She's doin' the VERY BEST SHE CAN, God bless'er...

Leftists...

More of your same idiocy, stupid clown. Where's that treatise on Reagan's military Keynesianism? :eusa_whistle:

ROFLMNAO...

Isn't it wonderful how they try so hard to reinvent the language? But hey... when one tries and fails to succeed using the common language, it only serves reason that one would want to avoid that means of communication that so bitterly failed them in the past...

Now keep in mind kids... this is the same imbecile that has sliced up "Communism" into indiscernible slivers to avoid that failure from being recognized... not to mention the 'Christian Sharia' she trotted out earlier in the week.

Now it's "Military Keysian-ism..." which no doubt is another 'too smart by half' farce where military spending is said to be a form of social economics designed to offset a waning economy...

Which is BRILLIANT! I mean that such is a necessary function of a viable nation, doesn't mean that it can't be misconstrued as something else... after all, if misinformation were outlawed, the entire Leftist ideology would be extinct over night... and that would crush the political message-board game... now wouldn't it?

And we can't have that... now can we?

I wonder if Nancy is on Medicare.

It's funny, for forty years the Republicans have been railing against Medicare but they never try to end the program. What a bunch of cowardly hypocrites.

Hey kook keep it up:eusa_liar::eusa_liar::eusa_liar::cuckoo:

Nothing crazy about my statement. I prefer facts to Reagan mythology. He was a supporter of socialised medicine. That is a fact.

No he wasn't. He would have totally dismantled Medicare if he could have. The reason he tried to pretend otherwise was because he knew it would be political suicide to say that publicly.

I love it when people have a crystal ball that lets them know what Reagan really thought...

Don't need a crystal ball. He made it clear in his public statements.

How did he make it clear, but still pretend otherwise?

"If this program passes, one of these years we will tell our children and our children's children what it was like in American when men were free."

If that statement sounds like support for the program to you, you're in serious need of reading comprehension classes.
