Just as most normal heterosexual males in modern society are homophobic, to one degree or another, so are we also made uncomfortable by those unfortunate people who find it necessary to change sex. If the change has been from male to female, and the new female appearance is attractive, our homophobia fights with our natural male instincts.

No particular legal or social prescriptions should necessarily follow from that, other than the general requirement to act like a gentleman and, hopefully, like a sophisticated person. The world is not all like Kansas.

I totally disagree. A "phobia" is a FEAR of something. I am not "afraid" of queers. Do I find them disgusting? Very. But that is NOT "fear."

Well, I doubt they are thinking about homosexuality when they are looking at girl-on-girl porn. But there is no doubt that men like it, and that they choose to look at it.

Now you may say, oh, it's just because they like to look at girls. But you will notice that they like to look at two girls -- same sex -- having sex with each other. They could look at menage-a-trois, or just groups of naked women -- the market will provide them with whatever they want -- but in fact girl-on-girl is quite popular.

So we have to conclude that normal men are not turned off by same-sex sex, only by male-on-male same-sex sex.

However, if there are any men here who want to tell us how repulsed they are by girl-on-girl, and how they wouldn't be caught dead watching it, please step right up and witness.

Which is to say, normal men are homophobic only in the Latin, and not the Greek, sense.
