I thought there would be more of those jokes by now.

Face it Rdean, any MAN who thinks Judy Garland has one of the TOP 10 ALBUMS of all time ....is a purse carrying fag. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm just saying you're a fag. That's all. Not that that's wrong or anything...

PS : we all know that Bette Midler is probably your second choice.......

PPS: followed by Liza Minnelli.....

My parents would love to hear that.

Are these guys fags?

he did not say they were....he said you are....

My list will probably be different next week haha. Only one that's always the same is Wish You Were Here-I think it's just such an amazing album from start to finish.

1. Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here
2. Iron Maiden-Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
3. Deep Purple-Machine Head
4. Black Sabbath-Master of Reality
5. The Rolling Stones-Let it Bleed
6. The Beatles-Abbey Road
7. Black Sabbath-Black Sabbath
8. Stevie Ray Vaughan-Couldn't Stand the Weather
9. Death-Leprosy
10. Alice in Chains-Facelift

Hard to do, left off many many many artists from all sorts of genres.

Rust in Peace - Megadeth

That whole album was a guitar-playing masterpiece. A guitar lober's wet dream. Great riffs and solos.

Absolutely after learning Holy Wars, Hangar 18, and Polaris my playing was twice as good as before. Great album for intermediate metal guitarists to tackle. It will propel your playing a lot.

Megadeth was never the same without Friedman.

#1 - Meet The Beatles -most groundbreaking album of all time - or that ever will be...

will have to think about 2-10. (at least 3-4 Beatle albums)

Rock albums -
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Abbey Road - The Beatles
Animals - Pink Floyd
Let it Bleed - Rolling Stones
The Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden
Holy Diver - Dio
Rust in Peace - Megadeth
Physical Graffiti - Led Zeppelin
Blizzard of Oz - Ozzy Osbourne
Sonic Brew -Black Label Society

Just a start.....

I know this is an old thread.

but did anyone else look at this list and go; WTF!!
look at Sanders avi and go WTF!! again?

I know our avi's are not direct reps of us, but in my interactions with Zander make me think it's close.

but Black Label Society? That's some heavy, heavy metal righ there.

> The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967) by the Velvet Underground
> Trout Mask Replica (1969) by Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band
> Death Chants, Break Downs, and Military Waltzes (1964) by John Fahey
> A Love Supreme (1965) by John Coltrane
> Marquee Moon (1977) by Television
> Sung Tongs (2004) by Animal Collective
> Madvillainy (2004) by Madvillain
> Are You Experienced (1967) by Jimi Hendrix
> Delusion of Fury (1968) by Harry Partch
> Ascension (1980) by Glenn Branca

They're not in order, but I chose them out of the creativity, influence, and (with some) technicality. I could definitely include more, but... only have ten choices.
