Uhhh, no. New York has seen a 22.5% jump in violent crime in the last year. People are worried that the crime rate may jump back up to what it was in the 1990's. Oakland CA and San Francisco are likewise seeing an uptick in violent crime as gangbangers are released from prison.

The fact that an honest citizen may be packing heat forces crooks to think twice about picking a randome person or home to rob.

Austrailia has everyone keeping thier guns, that they were allowed to keep, in triple combo safes, that they had to buy to keep any guns. Crime went up 84% in a month or so.

Don't worry, they will ignore this one as well. This is far from the first time that gun laws have been scaled back and in the vast majority of those instances there was a decline in crime rates yet they are here ignoring those as well. As often as I hear how the right ignores fact I have to wonder what the left is considering a fact....

We are forever going to hear from the left that it is a fact that when gun laws are relaxed crime rates increase because there are more guns. No matter what the reality is, crime rates are increasing. It must be other factors that cause the declines in almost every case. Just look at RW, he already jumped to that conclusion.
