1,117 Lies and Smears about Obama, Refuted

I never called McCain evil. I just pointed out McCain has flip flopped much more then Obama. So to point only out Obama's flip flops is only telling half the story.

Oh and on the whole "I can't see running for President"

Online NewsHour: Newsmaker: Sen. John McCain -- August 1, 2000

YouTube - John McCain admits in 2000 he'd be too old to run in 2008

Back to you.

Do you know what the Old Soldiers Home is? I happen to know because my family is military. The Old Soldiers Home is a retirement home for anyone serving 20 years or more. McCain never said he was too old he said he may retire or might be ready for the Old Soldier Home.

Obama, on the other hand, said he lacked experience to run for president this year.

What changed how did he gain such experience?

As is pointing out only McCain's. Face it: people only post things that make their candidate look better. Look at yourself. You post umpteen million topics a day to links from blogs and hack journalists, and they either 1) sing Obama's praises, or 2) say something negative about McCain. You're a partisan hack. Live with it.

I posted this, the 51k remodeling, and the 109 year old daughter of a slave voting for Obama.

This is just refuting lies, the other one is simply facts, and the 109 year old was just a great story I thought.

A symbol of how far America has come in her years.

Though I admit I do post several Anti-McCain threads at times. It helps to balance out all the ones posted by Republicans like "The Paperboy".

Four years is quite awhile in politics.

Besides, if the way Barack Obama has run his campaign is any indication of his presidency then he will do a great job as President.

You mean his Presidency will also be built on lies, unkept promises, and socialist agendas?

what socialist agenda? you mean 3% is the difference between capitalism and socialism? while you are some economic scholar :clap2:

I hope to God Bobby joins the Corps. It's the only thing that can bitch-slap him back into reality.

Then again the first time the DS gets in his grill and snarls Bobby will be standing in a puddle of piss with a snot-bubble hanging under his nose.

Join the Marine Corps, Bobby. It's the only thing that will allow your gonads to drop and make you a real man. You need it in the worst way, kid.

Do it. You'll thank me later. Walk into the recruiting office and tell them you want to be an 0311 and ask them when can you be expected to receive your weapon and go kill tangos.

I don’t know about you but when a presidential candidate, Obama, says he lacks experience to even think about running, it is important enough to bear repeating.

Again, you want to harp on experience.

Do you know who is the only President to have any real business experience?

Herbert Hoover

Do you know who is the only President to hold an MBA?

George W. Bush

The following experience for one man: 10 years a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, 10 years a United States senator, twice named ambassador — to U.S. embassies in two of the most important European capitals: London and Moscow — and for four years served as secretary of State. Want to guess what President that describes?

James Buchanan, one of the worst in history.

Do you know a certain person who was a one term member of the House of Representives and made a failed attempt at the U.S senate?

Abraham Lincoln, the man who is considered one of the greatest presidents and served after Buchanan.

Do you know a certain former actor who only served as Governor for twelve years before becoming President?

Ronald Reagan

Need I say more?

george bush ran great campaigns.

how's that working out?

Comparing Obama to George W Bush, now that is funny.

Actually, he had great people behind the scenes who were great at tearing down people's character and making lies.

I think you defeated your own point on that one.

Governor for twelve years is supposedly enough experience?

Obama served in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004.

And of course he has been a senator since Jan 4, 2005.

My point still stands though.

Some of the men who have been supposedly the more "experienced" turned out to be the worst failures in our country's history while people who were considered "inexperienced" turned out to be some of the best.

Governor trumps senator if we're going strictly by experience.

It's executive experience. I'll take that over a Senator anyday.

Yes, showing up to vote every once in a while is a real testament to one's ability to lead a country.

And of course he has been a senator since Jan 4, 2005.

And has been campaigning for President for half of that term.

It was not I who said such, it was your candidate who said he did not have enough experience- don’t go hatin because of something your own candidate said-- not me.

By the by...

Reagan Only 12 years? Only 12? Obama has been the US senate for what, three years and has been campaigning for 2 of those years.
