BTW the term yoni is a hindu one, and the image I had in my avatar was Buddhist.

I removed the dakini avatar since it seemed to disturb your mind.

Dakini loosely translates as "sky-dancer" or "walker in space". The dakini represents complete freedom. As a female Buddha she symbolises enlightened energy.

What you are actually seeing is a cloth over the area--this yogini wears a tiger skin skirt.

There are sacred images that depict the yoni in detail. They are more secret, because people like you only see the ordinary in everything.

The avatar you're obsessed by and see 'bush' that doesn't exist is not one where the yoni is depicted in detail. When that occurs it has specific spiritual significance.

The issue is past. Get over yourself.

A tiger skin skirt can be seen. You may not be used to seeing it. If I was next to you I could point it out. Look again.

The image in an avatar size is quite small. I didn't think I would set off disturbance in anyones mind. My apologies to those with 'bush' perceptions.

From now on I will screen every image to make sure there is no possible offensiveness to any living soul.

Better yet, I'll just take all my avatars off altogether.

The tiger skin skirt is usually seen in the back. The pubic area is usually not well defined.

Just to clarify, I am not offended by your avatars. That was never my position as you kept trying to contend.

It's simply a matter of rules.

I didn't blow it up to the size where the toplessness is visible. It's gone. I took it out. Maybe I need glasses but I didn't see this image as pornography or choose it to offend anyone. The second the poster complained, I removed it.

I was not trying to break any rules. I couldn't see any bare breast or genitals at all in an image the size of a quarter.


Can we make a mountain out of this molehill?

What sense does it make that the thread was started AFTER I removed the avatar?

For the record, I'm not offended by them, either. I like bush. And, boobies. What's not to like about boobies?

No----the issue would have been done with ages ago----you insist on making a big deal out of it --over and over and over. Now I ask--WHO is obsessed with the issue?

It reminds me of an old Buddhist story about two traveling monks. They got to a river where a beautiful maiden was trying to get to the other side. She asked for help and to the horror of one, the other offered to carry her on his shoulders.
As they proceeded down the road, the horrified monk could keep his silence no longer and blurted out " I can't believe you carried that maiden on your back ! "
The other monk responded "at least I only carried her across the river. You have carried her all the way to here".
