I remember a couple of bozos that claimed McCain and Obama would run a refreshingly clean campaign and what a treat that would be for us all.

Rep Power: 65 | | | You've got the left thinking everyone is dirty so it doesn't matter, and the right thinking their candidates are never dirty.
Of the two, I'd rather go for the higher ideal, but it makes for messy elections every time.
But elections are always messy. People DIE during elections...our country is one of the safest, and even our guys die. It's a messy process.

Rep Power: 350 | | | yeah, but it's never been the right wing candidate that's *gotten* it,
Could it be because of speeches like the ones saying the candidate "pals around with domestic terrorists" while people in the crowd are yelling "kill him"
Higher ideal? RAFLMAO! You wouldn't know the higher ideal if it bit you in the butt.

Higher ideal? RAFLMAO! You wouldn't know the higher ideal if it bit you in the butt. | Give me a break. They drag Obamites out of the McCain/Palin rallies as well, and we've had some of our own on this board claiming someone should kill Sarah Palin.
As I said, I'll stick with the higher ideal, instead of accepting that everyone is equally dirty, and joining the crooked parade myself.
