I love NYC, but the folks around here don't welcome any conservative views -- very frustrating, but I will continue to speak out as long as the first amendment is still on the books.
I hope to be involved in spirited discussions and debates with informed people.
PoliticalChic | Welcome. You should be ok here because the moderators are on your side here. What board were you on? I'd like to go visit.
Thank God you are in NY so your vote doesn't matter.
PS. We are informed. If you are voting McCain, it is your brain that is in question.
Again, welcome!!! :eusa_sile nced: |

What was that reference about brains? I further assume that you will be voting for, in the VP slot, the man who stated that we "threw Hezbollah out of Lebanon," which never happened, who stated that the Constitution describes the executive branch in Article I (it's Article II), and who suggested that the American people join him in a visit to Katie's restaurant -- which unfortunately closed in the 1980's.
Again, feel secure in your vote for the Empty Suit and the Stuffed Shirt???
Thanks for the welcome! |

Yes, I get a bit partisan when I run into someone who is just plain wrong. Jillian is right about you spinning spin.
If you don't understand why an old black dude would be saying GD America instead of God Bless it after what he lived through, then you just don't understand the black struggle of the 60's. Or the 200 years leading up to the 60's. And to put on Obama what Wright said? That's what people do when they don't have anything on the actual candidate.
So I assume you don't like black people all that much. I'm just guessing though. Let me know if I'm wrong. And I don't mean your black neighbor. I mean black society. The people that live in "the hood".
I feel for those people because I know their history and I went to an inner city school. I also lived in an inner city neighborhood where jobs are scarce and there is still racism holding those communities back. BELIEVE IT OR NOT.
Obama will end up doing what no other president has done, and that's fix our inner cities. You got a problem with that? I sure don't.
I'm not scared that Obama will help blacks out more than any other president. I'm HOPEFUL that he will.
I won't get into all the BS about AYERS and WRIGHT, because it is all bullshit. Those two men aren't costing me the value of my home, my job, my 401K or the value of my dollar. That's the GOP. They did that.
So unless you live on Park Avenue, you are delusional. Your party isn't conservative. Reagan's deficit, HW's deficit, CLinton's surplus and Bush 2 racking up a trillion dollar debt.
OR are you socially conservative? Man, you have to play catch up. It's hard to know what you know and what you don't.
Don't think you will have a conversation with us that we haven't already had with some other right wing nonsense noise maker. |

Don't think you will have a conversation with us that we haven't already had with some other right wing nonsense noise maker. | Wow! What a classic example of a smokescreen! Since you clearly are unable to answer the specifics of my post, you try to hide behind the old "look what a good person I am, I'm defending minoritites!!" BOGUSSSSSS. And laughable. Can you say "strawman"??? Race? Only you Dems seem to bring up race. I can see where you're hiding. So, based on your non-response, I guess I win on NObama's ACORN-Alinsky-socialist-anti-American background. I guess you are unable, as well, to deal with the lying windbag who thinks that FDR was president in 1929, and that he went on TV to save the country. Well? Well? I guess your answer will be how you once helped an elderly lady across the street. |

please don't indoctrin.... oops, I mean "educate" me...
and to respond to your question I'd have to separate your fallacious conclusions and spin from the underlying facts... and frankly, can't be bothered.
perhaps it was your delivery and not your politics that's the problem here in brooklyn, though.

But you aren't worried that McCain 3 weeks ago said the economy was strong as the market came crashing down on him.
Yes, you aren't anything new. Just a NEW blow hard. And your vote is meaningless!!!! Because Obama has already won NY. HA HA. So get ready to lose your little one bed room that goes for $3k a month. Start taking the subway instead of those cabs. Walk a little.
But I do welcome you to these boards. I can't wait to find your nonsense and prove you wrong each and every time.
