| | | | You gotta be fucking kidding me Quote: An atheist organization is blasting the U.S. Postal Service for its plan to honor Mother Teresa with a commemorative stamp, saying it violates postal regulations against honoring "individuals whose principal achievements are associated with religious undertakings." Atheist Group Blasts Postal Service for Mother Teresa Stamp - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com
I was hoping John Stewart had made this up.
So the fact that she's a Catholic means we shouldn't recognize her as a humanitarian? Isn't it the protesting idiots who are discriminating based on religion here? What's wrong with recognizing her as a humanitarian? Quote: "Mother Teresa is principally known as a religious figure who ran a religious institution. You can't really separate her being a nun and being a Roman Catholic from everything she did," Gaylor told FoxNews.com. Nor can you separate any person's actions- good or ill- from the underlying beliefs that motivate them. If they have some evidence she's a bad person, then fine. But this is just fucking ridiculous- and not in the way that makes people laugh merrily. |

She was an amazing lady. Mother Theresa and Princess Diana both died the same week, but you'd would of never known that at the time. It just shows you where the morality of society has shifted over the past 30 or so years.
