Rep Power: 44 | | | Gay Man Experiences Sharia Law In America Video at the link: KSTP TV - Minneapolis and St. Paul - Man*Hit with Rocks*After Twin Cities Gay Pride Parade Quote: A St. Louis Park man says he was taunted and pelted with rocks after he left the Twin Cities Gay Pride Parade, and the attack was caught on camera. "Some of them threw rocks. At first, I got defensive. Then I thought okay, they are teenagers. I can take them," Schreifels explained. The teens who harassed Schreifels were Somali, according the Somali Justice Advocacy Center. Leaders say it's unacceptable to harass someone because of their sexual orientation. Bullshit! He thought "Oh, they're Black, I can't complain". You know if it were White kids doin' it, it would be all over the news. And this guy would already have a lawyer.

Rep Power: 38 | | | That sucks. Most Somali immigrants I know are great people - hard-working and eager to integrate. That obviously isn't the case for all of them.

Rep Power: 437 | | | That's quite a stretch.
Do you guys really harbor so much hatred of black people? Is it because we have a black president? |

Rep Power: 255 | | | The article mentions nothing about what religion the boys were so why the reference to Sharia Law in the thread title?
To me the real isssue seems to be this:
(from the article)
"The video also shows security officers not reacting to the harassment. Organizers say the men worked security at a nearby building, but weren’t providing security for the parade—which was controlled by 30 off-duty Minneapolis Police officers. "They would have stopped it immediately. It would not be tolerated by Minneapolis Police officers," said Sgt. Jesse Garcia.
But Schreifels says a Minneapolis officer directing traffic failed to step in." |

... Wrong as usual, KK. Hate crimes cover crimes against religious persuasions and drug use is a crime. |

Why do you assume that these teens were Muslim or that if they were, being Muslim had anything to do with why they were throwing rocks at a gay man? |

Here's a little info for ya' about Somalia: Somalia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Quote: Despite some significant political differences between them, all of these administrations share similar legal structures, much of which are predicated on the judicial systems of previous Somali administrations. These similarities in civil law include: - A charter which affirms the primacy of Muslim shari'a or religious law, although in practice shari'a is applied mainly to matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, and civil issues.
Islamic shari'a law has traditionally played a significant part in Somali society. In theory, it has served as the basis for all national legislation in every Somali constitution. In practice, however, it only applied to common civil cases such as marriage, divorce, inheritance and family matters. This changed after the start of the civil war when a number of new shari'a courts began to spring up in many different cities and towns across the country.
These new shari'a courts serve three functions: - To pass rulings in both criminal and civil cases.
- To organize a militia capable of arresting criminals.
- To keep convicted prisoners incarcerated.
Starting to make sense now?
Somalis come from a country where they practice Muslim Shari'a Law. Thanks to Liberals who don't want immigrants to assimilate, just celebrate their own culture, Somalis come here and practice their culture, which is based in the Koran and Shari' Law so they harass homosexuals.
Ask SunniMan what the punishment for homosexuality is under Islam.

Ask SunniMan what the punishment for homosexuality is under Islam. And?
A bunch of cops just beat the shit out of a gay guy in Texas, do you think they were Muslim as well?
America is intolerant towards gays. They don't need to be from another country to learn that. Hell, read Pubes's posts. |

Rep Power: 44 | | Here it is: Sharia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Quote: Homosexual activity is illicit under Sharia; however, the prescribed penalties differ from one school of jurisprudence to another. For example, these countries may allow the death penalty for sodomy though not for other homosexual activities: Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, UAE and Yemen. You need Sodomy defined for ya'? You understand now why the homosexual was getting a taste of Shari'a Law? Quit stickin yer' head in the sand and face the real issues for once. It's not the Policemans' fault that the homosexual was being "stoned".
The real shocking thing about that story was the homosexual dismissing the behavior of the "Youths of North African Origin".
Political correctness will eventually kill him too.
