You see the liberal position is to state that the sex life of an individual (provided it's not involving illegal acts) is their business. Heterosexual or homosexual, who cares? But it seems that the right, which needs to keep its fundie religious base onside, feels it necessary to condemn gays and probably anyone else that doesn't do it one on one with the light off. So, when a closeted right winger or a right winger swinger is caught out the accusation of hypocrisy is valid.
