Affirmative action should be based on income and assets and NOT on race or gender.
A po White boy from the sticks is much much more disadvantaged than a well heeled Black person or a well heeled White woman.
Yet the AA system used to (it may still I haven't looked at it in years) exclude White men from getting any help
because of their race and gender.
So in order to overcome the p[ernicious outcomes of a racist and gender biased history, we in fact created a new victim class....
