Fox News reports: "It started out as a brotherhood in the Oregon state prison system, but police said the European Kindred is one of the most dangerous and fastest growing gangs in Portland.

On any given night, police are tracking local gangs on the streets of Portland. They’re watching out for graffiti, fights and drug deals, trying to get ahead of the crime.

Deputy Ryan Burkeen is with the East Metro Gang Enforcement Team and for the past two years he said he’s been following the European Kindred, or EK.

“They’re more recognized on the streets as ‘just don’t mess with us, because we have access to guns and other types of weapons,’” said Burkeenox News reports"

This is a racially backed gang that is now the biggest gang in Oregon and quickly spreading to neighboring states. It is reported that the gang uses and distributes Methamphetamines, and commits crimes in lieu of obtaining more Meth. Crimes of racial modivation have been reported both inside the prisons and on the streets, but more disturbingly, there's been crimes committed against the elderly reported on many cases.
